I applied online and was quickly invited to complete an SQL test. Two days later, I received an email for a first-round interview. The interviewer was very friendly, and we discussed my experience, projects, and work at The Bid Lab. The interview went smoothly, and the interviewer even mentioned that I was selected for the next round. After waiting for 16 days without any updates, I decided to reach out via email to inquire about the next steps. The following day, I received a rejection email. While I respect their decision, I found it disappointing that I was left waiting without any communication until I initiated contact. I was genuinely looking forward to the next round of interview, and this experience left me with a negative impression.
