Initial telephone interview with the head of recruitment (around 30 minutes) followed by interview at the head office with the head of HR and the head of recruitment (60-90 minutes). Next was an assessment related to the role, followed by a tour of the business sites and another interview with another member of the management team (around 3 hours). A fairly positive experience up until the fourth and final stage - an interview with the CEO of the company. The CEO didn't seem to understand the role he was interviewing for. I assume this was a result of miscommunication between the various people involved in the recruitment process. Overall, a very long process (around 6 weeks). Poor recruitment process - none of the candidates were offered the position and the job role was readvertised without amendment.
