I was interviewed by two women at the Tetra Tech, Ann Arbor office. Both women seemed very unprepared for the interview. They were slow with the questions they were asking and wrote my answers down all over the place even on my resume. However, both women were very casual and friendly. I felt the interview went well and I was highly qualified because it was an entry level position and I have had four previous environmental internships. I was told I would hear back within a week if I got the job, or did NOT get the job. I proceeded to write a thank you letter and waited. After a week I wrote a follow up e-mail and even called and left a voice-mail expressing my continued interest in working there. I basically wanted to know if a decision had been made. It has been about 4 weeks and I have heard nothing back not even a simple "sorry you did not get the job" after e-mailing and calling. I find it highly unprofessional, and very rude. Most interviews they will tell you, if you don't hear back, you did not get the job. At least they could tell applicants that this might be the case. Especially when I left a voice mail. Overall I was very disappointed, the least they could do is show courtesy to their interested candidates.
