Applied through an employee referral. I had already worked at Tesla as a contractor so it was easy to get their attention. They set me up for a couple of on-the-phone interviews, and I had lunch with the team I am working with. After a couple weeks they asked me to come for a personal set of interviews (8 total). Easy process, good conversations with people. Very enjoyable.
