A contract recruiter called from California about an outside sales position in Austin. I interviewed face to face next day with regional manager at local branch office in North Austin . I then had a phone interview with my would be direct manager two days later. The phone interview was pleasant and very conversational. It appeared to bea formality. Hr then called and asked for me to do drug and driving background checks. I was offered the job within 5 days of initial call. It would have been sooner if my schedule had availability for the phone call. All in all a smooth process and very transparent.

The Interview itself was easy going but I did not know that I would have to undergo a 1 1/2 month long process that included slew intellectual, psychological, Physical, Mental and drug tests and a background check. Then there is 2 more months of hundreds of rhetorical online modals and classroom training. I did mine close to home but all that followed had to travel hundreds of miles away for that class and final test.

I applied, got an email the next day from a recruiter, had a phone interview the next day, met with the Branch manager the day after, rode with a employee 2 days later, took a drug screen and background check, got hired about 2 weeks later!
