I recently attended the interview process for the Computer Vision Intern position. The process included an AI-based interview conducted through Google Meet. The interview experience was somewhat confusing. After completing my self-introduction, the interview was unexpectedly terminated by the system with a message indicating the presence of an unacknowledged participant, even though I attended the interview individually and did not use any external assistance. While AI-based interviews can improve efficiency, it would be helpful if there were clearer communication regarding technical issues and a mechanism to handle false detections or provide candidates with another opportunity in such situations. Overall, the process appears innovative, but there is room for improvement in terms of candidate experience and technical reliability.

3 Rounds. First - technical interview with their AI avatar Zai regarding previous experiences and plans for ongoing research/projects Second - technical interview with the Computer Vision team lead regarding ongoing projects & research work covering conceptual questions about model requirements, performance, and limitations Third - HR discussion briefing about the company work culture and expectations

First round: An Assignment on finetuning an LLM even though my role had nothing to do with it. You are required to make a video explaining the process and code of the assignment. Second round: Interview with AI Lead, He did not seem well interested in having a conversation. Felt more like viva in college where its just QnA and nothing else. He did ask some nice and thoughtful questions.
