J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Telligent Systems en mars 2012

      Entretien

Phone screening (15 minutes), then three technical interview calls with other software developers in the organization. Everyone was nice and cordial. Very through interview process. Interviewer asked one question that I didn't memorize (had to do with webforms), I asked him what the answer was and he stated he didn't know either, they just ask it to see what the candidate would say.

Watch out for protectionist pedants and over-attributing/projecting HR. Responded by direct email of resume, following a career fair meet a number of months prior. Interview was on-site for an internship role. I provisioned them with a huge amount of provable and demonstrable development experience prior to the interview. None of this was covered to any great detail. Questions centered around behavior, non-development interests, and career goals. A month later I received a hilarious rejection for not knowing .NET or having enough web development experience. They knew this well in advance of the interview, and this is tech that can be acquired within weeks if not days if not hours for me. Moreover, my skill-set was in fact transferable (I had worked in LAMP stacks and related web development in the past) and I was also near completion of a CS degree with an advanced theoretical understanding of much of the tech that they work with. This leads me to believe that there were overriding motives of self-interest involved here, beyond my ability to do the actual job. Before interviewing with these guys, don't bother if you can't avoid coming across as overqualified and if you can't produce nice political answers to throw off over-attributing HR. Further, they also have Devry and other similar graduates working there that are likely engaging in personal protectionist based hiring rather than job and company fit based hiring. If you have a similar background as me (OSS + Deep CS + Experience), I recommend just avoiding this bozo explosion. It isn't worth your time, and there are many other employers out there that recognize motivated talent and translatable skills, without the problems that I experienced. I have received offers from similar companies since then, including offers from Fortune 100's, so I know this to be true.

      Question 1

Esoteric HTML topics, but if you know these (they are learn-able within a few seconds), they will just move on to find another trivial esoteric fact to get you. It is political and it serves as a smokescreen in order to make you feel devalued.
