As a business owner, Im used to doing the interviews rather than being interviewed but after deciding to semi-retire, I signed myself up for nearly two weeks of nonstop interviews trying to find out all my options to continue practicing remote and utilizing my clinical skills on a part time basis.
This particular company was not even on my radar until noticed a message in LinkedIn from a Kristine asking if wanted to learn about it, which I did. So far I was only feeling “okay” with about 1-2 of the places I met with but I honestly wasn’t impressed by any. As matter of fact this was the first one to leave any positive impression on me and she did a phenomenal job at clearly articulating everything I needed to know. The entire thing was informative plus an enjoyable experience. She wasn’t rushed but did not go on and on forever either. I don’t know what they pay her but I bet it ain’t what she’s worth! Remember I say this after NINE other interviews, so I feel like I gained enough experience to form an accurate opinion in comparison to the others. Then learning of their involvement with military was added icing on the cake being that I am a veteran!
I will be putting a few colleagues in touch with her in the coming days and I highly recommend to any therapist who is looking for a new opportunity to reach out to her and apply.
