applied online and was called in for an in-store interview, process took less than 4 weeks. The interview was semi-formal, but the manager was lovely and made me feel relaxed right away. It was just the standard retail interview, nothing too overly complex with some role play questions based on information provided in interview.

Sent my application online, heard back instantly asking me to take an online test, which was three mini tests, testing your personality (if you're right for the role) Numeracy and a situation and answer test. After completing that I got an almost instantly saying i had qualified for a telephone interview and gave me a date for the day after. Telephone interview was very basic, simple questions such as, Have I ever worked towards a target or a deadline? and if i was happy with the hours and pay that the role included. Just went over basic details, then told me I had qualified for a face to face. Face to face interview was basic, all based around previous experience, mostly questions starting with 'tell me a time when...' after the basic questions they told me I had to now have a go at role play. The interviewer handed a booklet to me which was all the information i would need (basically just a book full of phone contracts and phone prices etc) I was then told i was to play the role of sales associate and he would be the customer and he basically gave me 20 minutes to study the book. After that we went through the role play which was a bit awkward and embarrassing at first but once you got into it, it was kind of fun! I then got told i would hear back within 3 days as they only had 4 people for interviews. I didn't hear back from them for 5 weeks and when I did hear back it was by email saying I had been unsuccessful.
