It was a really really good experience. Interview process was very smooth and the HR helped me a lot in communicating things which made the whole process more smooth. There were 3 interview rounds and 1 coding assessment round where I was told to design a OOP related project.

There was a screening round, followed by a technical round with an employee, then another with a team lead, and finally, an HR round, as discussed. I participated in the technical round, where they gave basic DSA questions on arrays, which I solved successfully. However, the problem was with the interviewer. He was a junior associate with barely a year of experience as an Associate AI Engineer in the team. It seems unprofessional for a company to allow inexperienced individuals to conduct interviews and evaluate candidates with significantly more corporate experience than themselves. This interviewer was tasked with judging whether I should proceed to the next round. I don’t understand why inexperienced freshers are being assigned as interviewers in this company. I confidently answered all the questions about my projects in my previous company, solved the DSA problems, and answered everything technical he asked in Python. I felt the interview went very well, but I was shocked when I learned that this fresher labeled me as "inexperienced" in the field even though I answered whatever I asked? I was even told by the interviewer that my interview went well and we talked about what team I would be a best fit for. I do not understand why someone would others time when people are specifically using their leaves to attend interviews. This is not a campus hiring that you would stretch things for more than an hour and call me experienced for the role. Additionally, the HR explicitly mentioned that this position was open exclusively for male candidates, which struck me as highly biased. My female colleague, who also applied for the role, was abruptly cut off during her call and was told the rejection was because she is a female candidate.
