The interview was conducted by an HR and a Senior Manager together, but it was apparent that neither had reviewed my resume beforehand. The job description was vague, and it became clear early on that my background wasn't quite what they were looking for — something that could have been identified before scheduling the interview. This felt like a preventable waste of everyone's time. A quick resume review and clearer JD upfront would have saved both sides the effort.
