J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America (New Haven, CT) en sept. 2013
Entretien
Very extensive, rigorous interview process. Starts with a written application (includes essays, etc.), then candidates typically receive a phone interview, then a final in-person interview. Final interview takes about 5 hours. Includes group dialogue, sample 5 minute lesson plan (keep it simple! stick with a lesson that has super basic components such as 3 branches of government), and one-on-one interview. One-on-one was practically identical to phone interview. Use this time to give an update on a project you discussed on the phone interview.
The interview was relaxed and they were certainly there to help. They made it clear they would help you through the whole process of becoming a teacher with your own mentor guiding you.

Question 1
How would you take care of yourself in a high stress job?
It's a one-hour interview covering both technical and behavioral rounds, including a case study. So, prepare to discuss your skills, past experiences, and walk through your problem-solving approach for a real-world business scenario.
