J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America (Clemson, SC) en avr. 2013
Entretien
This is an intense process that can be summarized in three basic stages (see below). Arguably, the most important stage is the first because it is an extremely thorough online application and this is when the process is the most competitive due to the sheer number of applicants. Take your time with your online application, have multiple people review your letter of intent, and be sure to clearly communicate your passion and reasoning for wanting to do TFA.
Step 1: Intense online application
Step 2: Phone interview with role play
Step 3: Mock Lesson & one-on-one interview
Questions d'entretien [4]
Question 1
Give us an example of when you disagreed with something a colleague was doing. How did you address the conflict and how was it resolved? What would you do differently?
Role Play: They pretended to be an irate parent of one of your students. You had to respond. They would give you feedback on how you could improve and then you would do the same role play again attempting to incorporate the interviewers suggestions.
