      Entretien

The online application has a fairly lengthy multiple choice personality test. If you pass that, they call and set up a phone interview. Mine only lasted about 10 minutes. An HR manager asked me first why I wanted to work at Target, then described the job and asked if I was willing to fulfill all those duties. She then asked about 3 "tell me about a time" questions. At the end she said she liked me, and that she'd have someone else call to schedule my in-person interview. That began with a computer questionnaire. A few other people were interviewing and one of their two computers was broken so there was a bit of a backup. While we were waiting, the flow team lead came over to talk to us. Not formal interview, just introduced herself, talked a little about flow, and asked if there were particular areas we were interested in/had experience with. The questionnaire was harder than I expected. It was all math problems based on reading different types of graphs. Then there were a couple questions where the answers made absolutely no sense. One you were supposed to find a percentage, and all of the answers were some format like "=x2." I felt like I must have been missing something! I mentioned it afterwards to someone working there and they said it was not like that when they took it, and maybe there was an issue with that computer too. The ETL (store manager) then came out to get us 1 by 1. He first asked if I was willing to promote Cartwheel app and Redcard, and then what my former supervisor would say is my weakness. He then asked several more "tell me a time" questions. They were all fairly open ended. I think they are trying to get a sense more for who you are and how you work, than how you respond to those exact situations. He also made small talk throughout. At the end, he offered me a job. Then an HR person came in, had me sign off on pay, and told me about orientation and said they would call me to schedule it. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

sat down in a small waiting area until one of the employees brought me around to the a small room. The interviewer seemed friendly enough. He asked if I had any questions and I asked him what he liked about working for the company. He told me what the job entailed and the schedule, which is from 4-8. He then asked me some questions from corporate. I don't think I did to well because I didnt go to far into detail. Then he thanked me and said he'd let me know in a few days once they finished interviewing other candidates.

I applied to Target early July and the next week I was contacted for an interview about 4-5 days later. The interview process for Target was very... interesting. I met with the merchandise flow manager person and she asked me a lot of questions like "tell me about a time you showed exceptional service." and questions like why do you wanna work at Target. This lasted around 15 minutes. Afterwards the manager of the logistics team came in and interviewed me. He pretty much asked the same questions, so... I gave him similar answers cause.. yeah I din't know what else to say. After that, ANOTHER guy came in, asked a few questions AGAIN, and then talked to me about availability and hired me on the spot. The interview lasted about 45 minutes, although I know friends who have interviewed for 2 hours before at Target.
