      Entretien

I applied online in September 2011. Got called for an interview in October. Nearly a month. I missed the 2 calls previous from them. I called them back, and they set me up on the interview. I walked in had to complete the kiosk, assessment test. Which was retarded but whatever. Thing is I couldn't log in! I had to talk to guest services, the lady look pissed like she didn't even want to be there. So they just told me to forget about it, and go to the main office for the interview. I walk in and a nice employee guides me on where to go. I go to HR, they tell me to fill out a paper detailing days I'm available. The HR lady said "perfect". Then told me to wait in the staff/employee lounge. Which is pretty unprofessional if you ask me. I wait there for like 45 mins. Listening to annoying employees talking about nonsense. Shouldn't they be working? Anyway finally 2 interviewers come and get me, to begin the interview in some conference room. They ask me 4 behavioral questions. They then shock me and are like, oh this position is for Flow team! Which is not the position I applied for or wanted! I just went along with it though. At that moment, I gave stupid answers and just wanted to get out of there. I think they could TELL; that I didn't want to be there. Interview is over, I wait again in the staff lounge for some other guy. I wait like another 30 mins. He comes in, I have a dreaded look on my face. When he turns his back to take me to the conference room again. He ask me the exact same questions, and I ask him about what this position entails. Then he's like, Oh I don't know it depends. Interview is over, he says they'll call me or send a letter if I got the job. I knew I didn't get it, and I didn't even want it! Actually I had no idea what job I was even interviewing for! It was terrible to say the least. Target sucks BIG TIME!

I had applied months ago and I got a call yesterday, Sunday, and asked if I can come in on Monday but I asked if could come in on Tuesday and she gave me a time for 9AM. Today, the first interview was quite easy and the girl seemed really impressed by my questions. She then transferred me over to the HR manager where she asked me more similar questions before offering me the job. One employees walked up to me and said these are the nicest people you will ever work with/meet. Every employee I saw was laughing and happy, and the store was really nice. One of the best interviews I've ever had.

I submitted an online application on Saturday, received a call on Sunday. The person on the phone asked me about my availability on certain "mandatory" days of the holiday season and gave me the non-negotiable salary. I was OK with both, so an interview was set up for later in the week. The first interview was Wednesday. There was a clock in the room - it took around 15 mi(nutes and followed an exact script. The person interviewing me did not deviate from the corporate interview guide. I needed several days off during the holiday season, so instead of moving on to a second interview immediately, my time off had to be cleared through HR. Despite being told they would follow up with me, I had to follow up with HR. My time off was cleared and I had a second interview on Friday. Again - same thing. Interviewer followed a corporate interview guide exactly. No extraneous questions, no follow up questions. I was offered a position immediately after the second interview. No drug test for seasonal team members, but there was a background check.
