I interviewed for three different jobs for Tapestry within six months, one of which I was personally told to apply for by an employee of Tapestry (Kate Spade). The second and third interviews were humiliating. The second one was held in the courtyard of a shopping center and the interviewer made comments like, “We’re looking for the PERFECT fit.” The third interview was held via impromptu FaceTime call and I’d been told it was an “introductory phone call”, but the interviewer then proceeded to make comments about herself that were clearly directed at me: “I make sure I do my makeup on all video calls,” “I definitely get up early and take pride in my work.” Both employees told me that “it turned out” the job wasn’t actually available in their location but they would “reach out to other local management and see if positions were available” though continued to list the jobs (which in and of itself isn’t terrible, but coupled with the backhanded commentary during interviews felt personal). I don’t know why Tapestry kept granting me interview after interview only to allow their employees to deliver insults and continue to deny me a job with their company. I wound up actually returning all merchandise I’d ever bought at Kate Spade and Coach because this level of disdain for people does not deserve rewarding. Don’t apply here.

Very slow and long winded, slow to come back with next steps. Lack empathy and understanding of current market. Had to follow up a lot and hiring manager did not ask interview like questions
