The process was pretty straightforward and spanned over a month from start to finish. I started with a phone screening that went great and was provided with useful public resources to review. Next was a one-on-one interview with my hiring manager. I then was moved forward into the technical panel interview which was the hardest part of the process. Questions ranged from security to network management but were largely guided around what I had disclosed on my resume. I then had a private one-on-one demo with a TAM and got to see Tanium in a live environment and ask questions about the platform! This then lead to a homework assignment and concluded with two, one-on-one interviews with leadership team members.
Overall, this was hands down the best interview experience I have ever had. The process is fairly long, but it helps you learn a lot about the exciting products and innovations that Tanium provides its customers. It helps to know that Tanium is special for many reasons, but the culture is among the most impressive. People at Tanium realize that skills are something that can be acquired over time, but attitude, drive, and desire to learn are qualities that can’t be taught. Bottom line—being yourself, being proud of your accomplishments, and being honest with who you are will go a long way!
