They reached out to me on LinkedIn, explained the role well and things moved really fast. Had 4 rounds over a few weeks but honestly all the rounds felt very similar, it was the same questions being asked again and again with no clear progression. Calls were 45 mins to an hour but felt disorganized, no clear agenda and it wasn't always clear what they were looking for. When I asked what to expect before each round, the answer was always just "it's about your past experience," but then it would turn into a case study with no heads up.
And after all rounds, complete silence. Nothing. No rejection email, no update, no response to my follow up emails. It's been almost 2 months and I still have no idea what happened.
The most frustrating part is that after 4 rounds, multiple follow ups, and weeks of waiting, there wasn't even a rejection email. That's the bare minimum. Really disappointing from a company that presents itself so professionally during the process.
If you're going to put candidates through a lengthy process, at least have the decency to close the loop. Candidates are also evaluating you as a company, and this experience says a lot about your culture.
Pros: Fast initial process, interviewers were friendly
Cons: Unstructured interviews, repetitive rounds, no clarity on what each round was testing, zero communication after the final round
