The founder is definitely ageist. Kept trying to dig around my age, asked when I finished high school, my GPA in college, how I felt about working with young people. Definitely not a diverse environment. When I relayed the feedback to family and friends they even agreed it was weird to ask those questions. The recruiters should’ve known how the founder was before proceeding me to the next round of the interview. Low key he hinted he only hires people that just finished high school or college. The only great thing I’ll say is he gave me great advice about my resume and I’ve received way better opportunities. Don’t bother applying if you didn’t just complete college. From the vibe I got and the experience, it’s very uncomfortable and not an ideal work environment for those that don’t fit his “certain criteria”. It’s very easy for certain kinds of people to land this job.
