🚨 Unethical Hiring Experience with TALENTPLOYER & Infosys 🚨
I’m sharing this to raise awareness and help others avoid the misleading and unprofessional experience I recently faced.
I was approached by TALENTPLOYER , a third-party recruitment firm representing Infosys. After clearing two rounds of technical interviews, I received an official offer via email from TALENTPLOYER for a role at Infosys.
Following the offer:
âś… My Background Verification (BGV) was initiated
✅ I was asked to relocate to Bengaluru and be available for immediate joining—any day they might call
Everything was moving forward—until, suddenly, I was asked to attend one more "final technical round", which they labeled a formality.
What followed was a complete shock: I was rejected, and the reasoning was:
"A candidate with 6+ years of experience should be able to create a basic Terms & Conditions page—even with help from ChatGPT."
Let that sink in.
🔹 Why was I given a formal offer and asked to move cities if the evaluation wasn’t complete?
🔹 Why was BGV started if there was still a “critical” round pending?
This experience was not just disappointing—it was unethical and mentally exhausting.
As someone with over 6 years of solid experience in development, I expect and demand more integrity from both companies and their hiring partners.
📣 Offers are commitments—not placeholders.
📣 BGV and relocation are serious life steps—not just formalities.
📣 Candidates deserve transparency, respect, and accountability.
I’m sharing this so others don’t fall into the same trap. And I sincerely hope Infosys looks into the practices of partners like TALENTPLOYER .
