      What a terribly conducted interview! I'm not sure the 'Talent' representative had even skimmed over my application before calling me late for the interview- they barely knew my name. In the email sent before the telephone interview it said it'd be a '30 minute phone call so we can tell you a bit about Tails.com, and find out a little about you'...there was none of this. She went straight into reading questions off a sheet of paper for me to answer. Zero interaction and obviously distracted by something in the background. It made it terribly difficult to strike up a good rapport with them, and made it a very uncomfortable interview process. They didn't introduce the company as suggested, and the interview lasted barely 10 minutes. They were 10 minutes late in calling - not great when you've prepared for something thoroughly in advance! I was told I'd be contacted about whether I'd been successful by Monday, as the assessment day was on the Wednesday. Monday came and went, so did the Wednesday. By the Thursday I was fed up of waiting as I'd obviously been forgotten about so I emailed asking for an update. The next day I got a vague reply saying the assessment day had gone ahead, that there was potential for another assessment day, and that she'd keep me updated... On the following Wednesday I get an email saying I'd been unsuccessful. Again, clearly forgotten about stalling for time. Appears such a cool brand, shame it's too immature in the recruitment process.

Although the experience wasn’t good, it was really helpful that you took the time to lay everything out so clearly, because it really helps me see what was missed this time.
