The hiring process started with a phone call from the Team Leader. Then I had a technical interview with the Team Leader and a team member. The technical interview included 2 JavaScript Async LeetCode questions. After that, I had an HR interview. It was bad. The interviewer: 1. Was late 2. Hadn't read my resume 3. Didn't ask about my current job 4. Seemed to doubt everything I said They sent me a rejection email on a Saturday. The whole experience made me feel terrible.

The interview process included a short HR call, a call with the hiring manager, a technical interview with the hiring manager and a team member, an HR interview, a technical home assignment, a code review with two team members, and finally an interview with the VP R&D and a director. I successfully passed all the interviews and only had the final interview with the VP R&D left. The recruiter informed me that the final decision would be made after scheduling and conducting this last interview. However, a week later, I received a call from the recruiter stating that they had decided to proceed with other candidates, despite her previous assurance that the final decision would only be made after the last interview. During the call, the recruiter did not provide any explanation for their decision to stop my process. This experience felt very unprofessional and was a significant waste of my time. I would like to note that aside from the recruiter, who was unpleasant and unapproachable, everyone else I interacted with at Taboola was professional and courteous. I encourage anyone considering an opportunity at Taboola to read previous reviews and be aware of potential issues within their recruitment process.
