I interviewed with the Project Director on March 25th for approximately 40 minutes. During the interview, he asked only generic questions and did not cover any technical aspects that would have allowed me to showcase my skills and experience.
Although I felt the interview went well, but to my surprise, I later received feedback from the recruiter who had put me forward, stating that the Project Director felt my level of experience was insufficient for the role. This was disappointing, as I don’t understand how that conclusion was reached without a proper assessment of my technical abilities.
I fully understand that rejection is part of the process, but it’s disheartening to be turned down based on a judgment that wasn’t backed by a thorough evaluation.
