Asked to come in early, bring ids etc typical interview process. You meet others in that particular position so you can ask them about their day to day processes, you do a half day so they can see if you fit with what they are searching for and if you like the job

I had a 30 minute phone interview, then a half day shadow. I thought I had the job when they asked me to sit there half a day, but it’s just part of the interview process.

4 interviews felt like too long of a hiring process. I wish the process were more condensed. I felt like it drug out a bit. For starters, why not just make the onsite interviews longer instead of asking someone to come in 4 different times? It would be much more standard to have a phone interview and then a face to face where you meet with a panel. I did enjoy coming in for a half day and sitting in with the team.
