The interview process for this company was very easy and also was enjoyable. People were nice and personable. All in all it was a pleasurable interview process and I left feeling good.
Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez TE Connectivity (New York, NY)
Entretien
Longest rejection/high hopes process ever.
Phone interview 2 weeks after online app with Ashley- Talent Acquisition. Went well- followed up 2 weeks later. Invited me in for an imperson interview 2 weeks from that. Went awesome. Followed up after. Sent email to guys interviewed with thanking them. No response. Followed up with TA rep 2 weeks later. No update.
This job was exactly like the job I had previously that I held for years - was so excited and had so much positive energy.
When I didn't head back I lost hope- I can take a hint. But a week and a half later I got an email to schedule a call with someone further up the sales chain. Spoke with her and she was awesome. She mentioned another job opening that might be opening and asked me if I was interested in that. I really wanted the position applied for- it was a perfect match- I let her know that my passion was in sales and I was seeking that position. She said it was between me and another applicant and she would let me know by end of week.
Sent TA rep email seeking her email to send a thanks. Couldn't obtain it. Followed up with TA the next week- no update. Followed up with her the week after- was told they were hoping to make decision soon.
Waited 2 weeks because I didn't want to seem overbearing - emailed again. She said they already hired someone else for the position.
Emailed her about the other position mentioned and never heard back.
Fast forward 5 weeks rejection email received.
Total time from application to rejection email: Over 3 months.
Argh. I really really felt passionate about this and was crushed. I literally checked my email several times a day. Sucks didn't respect my time as an applicant and made me wait forever if they hired someone else.
Not disappointed that I didn't get the job - just irritated that I was in the edge of my seat for weeks.
