The recruiter I was communicating through was articulate, pleasant and seemed to know the ins and outs of the company very well. The individual was very good about keeping the communication lines open both to learn about what my experiences and what I could contribute. It was a more interesting experience speaking with the hiring manager. Deep background in music but not particularly in the area that they were hiring in. The hiring manager departed the company soon after the interview and communications with TC Helicon to the recruiter went dead and I believe that we both saw something on LinkedIn about the announcement of a new hire in a different direction.
