I got this opportunity via RandStad and this was my very first interview in Canada. Interview process was very well done, in a planned way. First a phone call, then two face-to-face interviews (one with Team manager and HR and another one with the team). The people here are very experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared enough and couldn't clear the white boarding round with the team.

Whats the difference between Singleton and Static class ? What is preferred in what situation and why ? Where are static objects stored in the Memory ?

Interview was set up by a recruiter, so I had no initial contact with them prior to that. There was only one interview, with two people, one of which was on the phone. The interview di not go as well as I had hoped, but it looked like a great place to work. Casual, friendly environment, nice break room, and small but private offices for developers.

Question 1
Asked about my experience with 2 or 3 technologies that I had no experience with, which should've been obvious from my resume. Never like saying I don't have the experience, and my "willingness to learn" response apparently didn't impress them.
