J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez SysAid (Toronto, ON) en déc. 2025
Entretien
Horrible experience with Sysaid. Sysaid scheduled a 30 minute interview with me only to cancel it without telling me. I found out 5 minutes before the interview was suppose to start when I clicked the meeting link and it showed the meeting no longer existed.
Autres retours d’entretien d’embauche pour un poste comme Team Lead chez SysAid
A first call from HR , second call from VP R&D . First call took 10 min, Second call took 15 (and it was tedious). I guess there are more rounds later on.

Question 1
My experience with the interview process at this company was deeply concerning and should serve as a warning to potential candidates. The initial call with HR was brief but unsettling. The recruiter asked irrelevant questions, such as why I chose to work as a freelancer instead of on a contract. This lack of understanding about the current job market and the necessity of securing income is a red flag about the company’s culture.
The following day, I spoke with the hiring manager, who repeatedly emphasized my supposed lack of experience for the role. While he mentioned my education from an elite university, it felt more like a condescending gesture than genuine interest. It was clear he hadn’t even taken the time to read my resume. His questions were dismissive, including one about whether I would be willing to accept "any" team lead position, which only highlighted how desperate they seemed for candidates.
As I tried to explain my background and current endeavors, he interrupted me and fixated on what he called my "black hole" of experience, completely disregarding my work as a freelancer over the past year. This kind of toxic behavior from an interviewer is unacceptable and indicative of a larger issue within the company.
I strongly advise anyone considering a position here to think twice. A workplace that tolerates such unprofessionalism and lack of respect for candidates is not one worth joining
