A frustrating recruiting experience from day 1. The Recruiter who reached out to me on LinkedIn seemed to have a tough time keeping track of my candidacy, reaching out multiple times to schedule a screening after we already had scheduled a call and then again after we already had a full discussion of my background and experience. I mentioned early on in both email and conversation that I would consider their hybrid work schedule but could not commit to 3 days a week in office given the distance to the office and being a parent to small children. The recruiter assured me that I was a great candidate and that the work schedule could be more flexible, possibly only 1 day a week in office. A month later the recruiter reached out with much urgency to schedule a manager interview with very little notice. When I did meet with the manager, I mentioned the hybrid schedule at the end of an hour long interview and the manager clarified that there could be no flexibility on the hybrid schedule. What a waste of time for both of us. The recruiter and manager have still not gotten back to me a month later on the status of my candidacy AND I continue to get emails from the synopsis talent team asking me to complete D&I surveys and such. Why would I continue to contribute to the recruiting process for a company that misleads and ghosts candidates?
