I was first interviewed by HR and then by upper ranks. They asked broad questions and the interview was not very technical at all. The type of answer they expected was not clear as they couldn't paint a clear picture of what they were asking. Perhaps I could have answered more broadly instead of trying to make up for the missing information. The team informed me that they would make the decision very quickly and that I'd get feedback in a week. Over a month went by and I contacted HR... At that point, I had already figured I would not get the position. He said the process was ongoing and that they had not made up their minds yet. It has been several months now and I never heard back from them again. It felt like a terrible lack of professionalism to never receive any feedback. A simple message saying that I, unfortunately, did not make it would have been fine.
