Started with a very warm welcome and the hiring manager went through some questions about business situations from a PowerPoint. Then he left and the other person, who had been silent until this time asked technical questions about Python coding. Questions all seemed fair, but from an HR POV the interview questions did not match the position description I applied under. They were looking for a coding VP and not a VP experienced in validating regulated statistical models, which is what I do.
