I found the in house recruiter very nice and pleasant to speak with. She then arranged a call with the CTO and that call was a pretty run-of-the mill conversation about my background, career history, leadership skills, etc. We then talked about the company, what they did, and a little about their technology. Again, very standard conversation. But at the end, I just never heard back at all. Not even a "hey, we decided to go with someone else". I'm definitely not a fan of companies who just ghost their candidates so it looks like it was all for the better.
