I went through an interview with the HR and did the take-home-assessment.
The HR was extremely manipulative. You could tell immediately. The tech guys told me I had 7 days to complete the assessment, although the HR told me I had 6 hours.
I did it in 12 hours.
The entire project was running fine. UI, back end, ML (rag, llms), databases, agents, containerization. But it got rejected because it didn't have a back-off mechanism upon making ad-hoc requests to an api.
All this work just to get rejected because of a back off mechanism just sounds ridiculous.
