First I got an email invitation for the video interview. After completing my video interview, I got an email invitation for an in-person group interview. I was asked to bring: 2 manager references, a recommendation letter, passport photocopy, and prepare a presentation. It's a 60 second presentation where you have to talk about a random topic of Swoops choice outlined in the email. They didn't really ask any questions during the group interview, they just showed a powerpoint about what it was like to work at Swoop. They had us do various group activities to see how we work with people and how comfortable we were with presenting things.
I thought I conducted myself really well in the interview as I am outgoing and also have flight attendant experience. About a week after the interview, I was shocked to get a rejection letter. Some of my friends in the interview also got rejection letters who had 2-35 years plus Flight Attendant experience. The recruiter at Swoop only hires his friends even if they're less qualified and didn't do well in the group interview. People in the interview who were antisocial and didn't conduct themselves well, got the job over highly qualified people. I have no idea what Swoop is looking for in a Flight Attendant but the recruiting seems very corrupt.
I spent hours prepping for my video interview and then for my group interview too. I practiced my presentation for hours before the interview. I had to contact past managers to be my references and also ask that one of them write me a recommendation letter. I did all this work to get this job, only to get a rejection letter. I think they should only ask for references, ID copies, and a recommendation letter only if they plan on hiring you because it was a waste of my time.
I posted the video interview questions for those of you below ;). Just keep in mind, even if you get invited to the group interview and are qualified, it doesn't mean they're going to hire you even if they make it seem like they are.
