      Entretien pour Business Analyst

J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Swiss Re (New York, NY) en avr. 2018

      Entretien

The process started with me being contacted by an HR from a consultancy that hires resources for Swiss Re. After exchange of JD, resume and multiple conversations with the HR I was asked to directly go for a face to face interview at Swiss re office in Bangalore. It was quite strange that there were no telephonic rounds first. After multiple positive assurances and hype created by the HR I took leave at the current company that I was working for and took the pain of travelling to the venue to give a face to face interview. To my surprise it looked like Swiss Re didn't even bother look at my profile before hand for an initial screening. The interviewer only asked me to tell about myself, there were no other interview questions whatsoever. He later gave an insufficient reason that since I specialise in LIFE AND ANNUITIES he will route me to those particular roles as he was looking only for P&C experience. If this was a genuine reason he could have rejected my resume over an initial filter without having to make me come all the way to the venue. Or the details could have been extracted over a call. I was foolishly waiting for an interview for the non-existant life and annuities role when the local HR at the office tried to cover up for everything by saying that my profile is a perfect cultural fit and that she will call me in a month for upcoming openings. I was aghast by this kind of unprofessional behavior. The least they could have done was conduct a proper interview and the reject me to cover up their mismanagement. I could neither have an interview experience nor professional treatment at Swiss re Bangalore. On top of everything I wasted one days leave and traveling expenses for a sour experience like this. Please beware of the talent management firms that give you high hopes and waste your precious time and energy for their benefit.
