When you apply for a role you record a video on their website answering 3 questions. During the interview the interviewer stated the interview would be recorded and then watched by other staff. Definitely felt a little odd as this was the first time I had an interview recorded. The interview seemed to go well. Good questions and I was told I would hear back from them after the holidays since they were closed for a few days. I never heard back from them. I initially sent a thank you after the interview and after not hearing back after several weeks I sent a follow up email. Within a day of sending a follow up email, they sent a rejection email. Not sure why I needed to be the reminder to tell a candidate you were not interested. For an organization dedicated to stop college campus hunger, I would think they would prioritize letting their candidates know they are not interested. As they may not know their circumstances. Definitely something they can work on.
