      Entretien

I went through two rounds of standard phone interviews, followed by an in-person interview. Phone interview: The phone interview was with a Business Consultant and a Business Analyst. It started with a introductory background into the organization followed by asking about my professional background. I tend to stay away from the resume as much as possible because they have that with them. Instead, I highlighted how I got to that point in my professional life, mostly without talking about the projects I did. This was followed by a few behavioral type questions (4-6 questions) which are industry standard. Lastly, I was given plenty of time to ask questions. They told me on the phone that someone will be reaching out to me within the next 2 weeks. However, I got an email within 2 days informing me that I have made it to the final round of interviews, an in-person interview. The in-person interview included a 2 case presentations (1- analyzing a data given by them and presenting that; 2- presenting a case that I had previously worked on and presented that they had no knowledge of). In-person interview: I was interviewed by 5 different individuals (3 consultants, 1 senior manager and an AVP) over a span of 2.5 hours. It was a very laid back interview process and felt more like a conversation than an interview. They asked me a few behavioral type questions. This was followed by a 20 minute break for me to gather my thoughts for the case presentations. I presented 2 cases with 10-15 minutes per case. They asked me a few pertinent questions to get an understanding of my thought process. I was extremely nervous about the presentations but they had made me feel extremely comfortable from the moment I walked in that most of my anxiety was gone at an early part of the interview. I felt that my case presentation went well because of this. After the case presentation, two business analysts took me out to lunch. We chatted more, got to know them and they got to know me more as well. It was a very relaxed vibe. Overall a great experience. Much better than most other places.
