i applied online and within two weeks, i was called into the store. I had a short 10 min interview with the assistant manager. After some paperwork was filled out they told me i had gotten the job.

The interview was part of the process of determining who the appropriate candidate fits the job qualifications. They would note down all interviewees and then make calls to confirm job offer.
The manager or their assistant usually handles the interviews, after a short briefing your duties and pay rate is disclosed. Later, you are supposed to take couple of test from food handling and the alcoholic beverages permit.

Entretien
I applied online along with other friends and neither of us got called so I went in person and gave a paper application and I got called two days later for an interview and got called back one day later telling me I am hired. Very easy interview but only complaint is my Co workers. I am a quiet girl and I guess my Co workers didn't like that I focus on my work rather than gossip all day so it made me not very happy with my job. Other than that I loved being employed there.
