Hiring manager interview, then take home project, then a several hours long virtual onsite. The take home project requirements were vaguely worded. They said not to spend more than 6 hours on it but it was clearly several days of work.
Got the standard HR screening and an interview with a hiring manager. Then was given a take home case assignment. They said it would take <8 hours; it ended up taking nearly double that. A lot of time was spent trying to open their data files (given in 1m+ row Excel files). You synthesize and write a proposal document to submit for review.

I had a screening call with a senior, turned out he’s not the hiring manager. Then, I had a take home assignment. Then, they just told me that there’s no team that matches with me, and I just have to wait.
