Stripe provides a seamless and respectful process. The best hiring process so far.
Steps:
1. Phone Screening with recruiter
2. Chat with hiring manager
3. Writing assignment (The recruiter advised 1-2 hours) I've invested more time here. You have 2-3 days to return your work.
4. Interview with 5 different stripes. (30 minutes each.) I came across with a bunch of very relaxed and genuine people during this stage. They will ask questions related to your experience to see if you're a fit for the role.
5. Interview with the Head of department. This is a 30 minutes chat.
6. Reference check.
7. Offer.
My advice is to work closely with your recruiter. If you are a fit there is no reason to be worried. During my preparation I studied about the products using the stripe website and YouTube videos from the stripe channel. Your recruiter will send the material.
average interview process , everyone talked well about the company but no one seemed overly excited about the work. normal process with recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, panel interviews etc
Rigorous, detailed, thorough. Stripe learns a lot about the company while sharing less details about the company. Probe hard on role and department details, as well as company culture and management style
I enjoyed the process as there was clear communication, access to a variety of employees, and interesting conversations. The take-home work project did take time, but was enjoyable. There was a little confusion with the recruiter though who passed me onto one stage and then said "whoops" we actually need to do something in between.
