J'ai passé un entretien chez Streetbees
Entretien
30 min phone call with head of ML, where the conversation seemed a bit weird and didn't flow. Interview was heavily scripted; 10 mins of them reading a section about what Streetbees is/does, 10 mins talking about my experience, and then 10 mins of questions (again, scripted Qs unrelated to my experience).
Quite a few reviews appear to mention toxic management, so I guess it makes sense that they're trying to put processes in place to avoid that. It made the chat feel awkward though, and like they didn't care about you as a potential employee.
The questions at the end didn't fill me with confidence about their use of DS/ML, as they were very basic and something like you'd ask when you were first learning the field.
1. HR screening,
2. head of machine learning screening on past experience and culture fit,
3. a take-home project with pretty a pretty open machine learning task and sample dataset,
4. a technical round with team about past experience and take-home project, free-form Q and A,
5. chat with CTO
