      Entretien

I was invited for a HR Interview with Kua Sin Yee. However, it was on very short notice (1st red flag) but I accepted it anyways. I emailed her to confirm the online interview but there was no reply (2nd red flag). Regardless, I joined the online interview at the time stated. Since it was a last minute interview invitation, I could not take a day off of work and did it in the car. Interview was at 11.30am, I joined in and Zoom loaded for a minute. The moment I joined, Sin Yee asked if I forgot my interview time since it was supposed to be at 11.30am. Confused, I looked at the time and it was 11.31am. (3rd red flag). Never mind about that, I just brushed it off. Then, she asked if I was doing the interview in the car and if I wanted to reschedule and do it on a different day. I replied that I was okay to continue, apologies about the location as I couldn't take off so last minute, but she directly snapped at me and said she was not okay with it and told me, "Let's have some respect for both of us ya". At this point, I was very taken aback cause she was being so passive aggressive about the whole thing. It has not even been 5 minutes into the interview. Well, I just apologized about my location and agreed to reschedule it since she was not okay with it. Then, she proceeded to inform me that the role was put on hold. Honestly, I was too speechless to say anything. She told me that since my interview was before lunch, she was available to hop on the call to tell me directly cause for interviews after lunch, she would just send an email to inform them that the role is unavailable. While she's out here thinking she's so nice to hop on the call to attack me for "forgetting" about my interview time and doing it in the car and telling me to reschedule to respect both of us, I rather she had just emailed me. In fact, she should have replied my email to reconfirm the interview previously. It was a waste of time and affected me for the rest of the day. The interview only lasted 10 minutes but it was easily the worst interview I have ever attended. Now looking back, she was the one being super passive aggressive and I do feel disrespected. If this is how the HR treats potential employees, I can't imagine how it is for existing employees. I think I dodged a big red flag here.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

The first thing Sin Yee asked me was "Did you forget your interview?" passive aggressively.
