I had 3 interviews that consisted of a phone interview with HR and 2 in-person interviews. I was impressed that I was not asked the typical interview questions but rather was asked to tell about myself and why I am looking for this position. I feel that this communicates more about myself to the interviewer than the stock questions such as "what was a bad decision that I have made in the past", and similar questions. I appreciated that the manager wanted to know more about my real self. He also explained in detail about the position which helped in my decision as well.

I worked as a contractor for one of the daughter companies and gained experience in hazardous waste which segway'd into me applying for the job on the website. I was called by HR a couple weeks later and had two interviews over the phone with the hiring manager before being hired.
