A phone interview and then an in-person one. Pretty standard call to make sure your personal and can hold a conversation. Some firms churn and burn their reps, and others care to invest in them for the long-term. All depends who your agent is, and what they're looking for.

Owner was highly knowledgeable and thoughtful. Explained everything clearly and reviewed everything thoroughly on the job description. Base salary and bonus/commission was the only questionable issue. Expect a phone call in one week with offer.

Alison Fourtner agency. Interview consisted of owner's husband describing job duties and asking if that sounded acceptable. He asked a few questions and did not probe further when I basically did not answer them. ("Why do you want to work in insurance?" "[.....] to get into insurance.")

First, I had a phone screening, where I was told a scheduler would reach out to schedule an in-person meeting for the following week. The scheduler never reached out, so I followed up with my point of contact and had an in-person interview the following week.
