      Entretien

I'm confused by some of the previous reviews. I often find negative reviews to be from folks that didn't do well in the company interview, so I've decided to post my experience even though my personal circumstances ultimately prevented me from accepting my offer to work at Stackline - a regrettable outcome. I have interviewed and worked for several companies that have rigorous software based tests to evaluate behavior and intelligence. At the end of the day, I've always felt that Senior Leadership has still missed the target on smarts plus social aptitude - an instrumental combination for success. Stackline has both. All of my interviewers, including the CEO, put in the time to assess my intelligence, but also to learn more about how I socialize in a professional setting of a small hyper-growth team. I think this team is well positioned for success; they are professionals; they are smart; they know their culture and the talent that will thrive in their organization. I have and will continue to refer my colleagues to Stackline and hope that my situation changes and I too can join this phenomenal collection of leaders who are great people and also very intelligent - a rare combination.

Recruited via agency under the pretense for director level role. Spent 30+ days in interview loops, presentations and consultation. After thoroughly exhausting my expertise, the CEO used my ideas and suggestions to implement my recommendations without hiring me. Classic start up brain-theft. (They back tracked saying the role was too junior for me -- and that they never intended to hire a director for this role. I have a lot of materials in writing that show otherwise). They come off as great people, but they're not. I also know someone who briefly worked there and revealed that everyone works on Saturdays. Don't waste your talent on these people. They're really good at selling themselves, but they're really just concerned with their own success and don't care who they use along the way.
