I was interviewed by the branch manager, the children's department manager, and the youth services coordinator. I have many years of experience in the field, and am typically a very strong interviewer, I found the interview questions to be very difficult and the interview committee to be a bit cold.

They asked several questions about how I would handle specific situations. One that I thought was particularly difficult was: A mother with a baby in a stroller is looking for books. Her baby is crying loudly and the mother does not attend to her baby and continues to look for library materials. What would you do?
