I applied online in July and didn’t hear back for months, so I assumed I had been rejected. In November, the team finally contacted me, asking me to complete an assessment before any in-person conversation. I had trouble accessing the program, but once able I spent several hours completing the assessment (following the unclear instructions), then emailed them expressing my interest in next steps. A month later, I haven't received a response and don’t expect to. Overall, it was a frustrating and unproductive experience.

30 minute interview with recruiter. During the interview, I was told that the next round would be an assessment. I did my research to prepare for the role including looking at the profiles of other Event Project Managers they have recently hired. The 2 most recent hires - 1 had similar experience to me but 6ish years less, the other was in A/V production but not planning/project management. Obviously they only know what they're looking for but it was really disappointing to not at least try at the assessment or get in front of the hiring manager who actually knows the role and true experience and not be shut down by a recruiter.
