The interview process was thorough and rigorous. There were several layers and understandable given the role and the fit required for the role. The executive team is dynamic and the unique interview style was appreciated.

What was the last book I read and what my take away was.

Entretien
I was scouted by a recruiter at Spin Master and decided to apply for the position as comp package was slightly better than what I was getting at my current role.
An interview that was scheduled for an hour ran close to two hours. Person whom i would support in EA capacity was traveling. Instead I was interviewed by 5 people in total (not in a panel setting). Possible duration or the format were not previously discussed with me, it really felt like the interviewers were just winging it as there was no structure to the interview, i was just brought around to talk to different people. While the process felt disorganized, I was getting positive feedback from interviewers and in the end, I was given a short tour of the facilities and introduced to some more potential coworkers (which I've interpreted as expression of interest, otherwise why bother?).
Next morning when I sent a thank-you follow-up email, I was given a scripted rejection without any insight or feedback as to what led to this decision.
This was the weirdest interview experience I've had.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral questions. Many general questions unrelated to professional responsibilities. One interviewer asked a multiplication table question (which I answered quickly and correctly) and indicated it was a test to see if I can "think on my feet".
