I had a brief 10 minute phone interview with an H.R. Assistant, then a longer interview with the recruiter. It covered all the bases of an interview, but it went more like a conversation with a friend. It was very comfortable. Ordinarily, there would have been a video interview, but the client was really pressed to fill the spot quickly. My next contact was to schedule the video interview with the client. A Senior H.R. Manager was on the call by audio only. Later that day, the original recruiter I spoke with called to say that a formal offer was forthcoming. This was, by far, the most streamlined interview process I have every been part of, yet it seemed to cover everything necessary. I was interviewing for an attorney position with a Legal Aid subsidiary, and the interview was geared around my experience.
