Overall the interview process was a positive experience. The interviewers were polite, passionate and extremely knowledgeable of their processes. I was sold on SpaceX in the tour given by my recruiter before the interview even began. I had a total of 6 phone interviews (3 before the in person interview, 3 after), 1; 30 minute presentation with a panel of 7 SpaceX employees on an engineering project that I had ownership of, and 5, 1:1 individual interviews following the presentation. If I'm being completely honest even though I fell in love with SpaceX the whole process was long and mentally exhausting. The one opportunity I would say that SpaceX should improve on is to make sure ALL of the relevant interviewers are present at the in person presentation and panel so the candidate does not have to continue with more phone screens following the onsite interview. On the flip side the recruiting team I worked with was absolutely phenomenal. They kept me in the loop and supported/coached me through each step of the interview process and I don't think I would have performed as well as I did had it not been for the guidance and support from my recruiter.
